Your Right to Deletion
You have the right to request the deletion of your SpeedRoomy account and all associated personal data at any time. We are committed to respecting your privacy and will process deletion requests promptly.
How to Delete Your Data
To request account and data deletion, send an email to:

- The email address associated with your SpeedRoomy account
- The subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
We will verify your identity and process your request within 30 days.
What Data Gets Deleted
When your account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

| Event attendance history | Permanently deleted |
| Push notification tokens | Permanently deleted |
| Notification history | Permanently deleted |
| Firebase authentication record | Permanently deleted |
| Apartment listings (if host) | Permanently deleted |
Important: Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Once your data is deleted, it cannot be recovered. Make sure to save any information you need before requesting deletion.
Data Retention After Deletion
After processing your deletion request:
- All personal data listed above is permanently removed from our active systems within 30 days.
- Anonymized, aggregated data that cannot identify you (e.g., total user counts, general usage statistics) may be retained.
- We may retain minimal data if required by law for legal compliance, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our Terms of Service. This data will be securely stored and only accessed when legally required.
- Backup systems may contain copies of your data for up to 90 days after deletion, after which they are automatically purged.
Third-Party Data
When you delete your SpeedRoomy account, we also:
- Delete your Firebase Authentication record
- Remove your push notification tokens from Expo's servers
- Remove your data from our database (Hasura/PostgreSQL)
If you signed in with Google, Apple, or Facebook, you may also want to revoke SpeedRoomy's access through those services:
- Google: Manage Google Permissions
- Apple: Settings > Apple ID > Sign-In & Security > Sign in with Apple > SpeedRoomy > Stop Using
- Facebook: Manage Facebook Apps
